Three Easy Ways to Find Available Domain Names

Today I am going to give to you 3 easy ways you can use to find available domain names. Now, you can then use the names you find for personal use, for your website or as an investment that you can sell later on and earn yourself some sort of cash in the process.

Option one

The most obvious way and one that is commonly used by most people to find available domain names simply to go to any search engine:

  1. Type in “domain names” and click on the search button.
  2. Browse thorough the list of domain name registrars that come up.
  3. Then choose a registrar that best meets your price criteria and needs.
  4. Finally, use the search form to register your choice of domain name.

As I said earlier this is the most commonly used method that a majority of people use to find available domain names. Read more on available domain name search tools here

Option Number Two

Another way that you can use to find a good domain name is to search for:

  1. Names that have already been registered but are on sale.
  2. Or names that have expired and are now free for someone else to use.

Of course you will most likely agree with me that it will be a tedious and very boring task if you had to perform this task manually – browsing from one site to another trying to find available names.

Luckily, there are companies out there that will supply you with a list of available names that you can easily access. The only catch though is that you have to sign up and in most cases pay a small fee before you gain access to such names.

Something else to remember is that most domain registers will allow you access to their domain name after market for a given fee. A domain name aftermarket will enable you to find names that were previously registered but are now on sale.

Option Number Three

The third method you can use to find available domain names is to search for domain names that are on auction at domain name auction sites or on eBay.

Once you find the name that interests you, all you have to do is to bid for a given name. If you emerge as the highest bidder by the time the action closes, you get the chance to pay and secure that given name that you bid for.

Be careful though not to let emotional attachments to a given name to ruin your decision making by overpaying in order to out-bid everybody. Bid for available domain names here
