Go Daddy is a web site that offers domain name registration. It was established by CEO Bob Parsons in the year 1997, during that year the internet was still young.
On Monday there was an announcement made by Go Daddy that it has so far hosted more than fifty million domain names worldwide. Is this not a milestone made by Go Daddy domain name registration Company? To be sincere it is! According to me this is success that not all entrepreneurs live to achieve.
In the year 2010 Go Daddy had forty five million domain name hosted with it. I guess that Bob Parsons is proud of his entrepreneurial efforts. To be a successful entrepreneur is no all that easy, but for him he has achieved it. Go Daddy domain name registration is one the domain name registration company that is accredited by ICANN. It not only registers domain names but also offers web hosting service.
Go Daddy is the only domain name registration company that has registered more than fifty million domain names. What has led it to be the first one to manage millions of domain names registered by different people from all walks of live? This is the question that has no specific answer. It may be because of:
1.) Aggressive marketing.
2.) Due to it providing outstanding services.
3.) Its popularity. The domain name it uses is of good quality i.e. godaddy.com.

Some of the controversies have helped Go Daddy gain publicity, for instance early 2011 there was a picture and video of CEO Bob Parsons in Zimbabwe shooting and having killed an elephant. The picture and video went viral on the internet. There was also a bitter complain from animal right groups like PETA.
It is amazing that Go Daddy transfers, registers or renews a domain name every second each day meaning that it is a very busy business. This shows how successful it is. The quote I like from Bob Parsons is this one,
"Sometimes you hear people say all the good domain names are gone, but they are dead wrong..."
This is true because if one does his/her research in a diligent way then there are still good domain names to be registered.
Reports reveal that Bob Parsons sold Go Daddy Company and thereafter purchased No Daddy. So far we don't know what Bob Parsons intends to use Nodaddy.com for. Or, do you know?
