You need three things in order to register your domain name:

The name you are going to register
Your personal Information, like address
Valid credit card or paypal account

1.) Your Desired Name.

2.) Details of your web host

If you already have a host company, then you can either call them or log into your control panel and obtain:

Primary and secondary name servers
DNS IP address

If you are unable to obtain these information, you might want to scrolling through FAQs, domain name or DNS category menus or even better call or email them for assistance.

Save the above two pieces of information because you are going to need them as you go through the domain name registration process.

3.) Valid credit card.

If you want to register new domain name, a credit card is a must have. Unfortunately this is not an option. Most if not all domain name registrars require that you have a valid credit card that would enable you to pay for your domain name.
